Caterpillars
Ages 6 to 14 months
Babies learn through relationships, sensory input, and play. Our unique program for babies runs for 1 hour during the following time slots:
Tuesday: 15.30 - 16.30
Thursday: 15.30 - 16.30
SEnsory experiences
Babies use their senses to explore and understand the world around them. That's why we encourage you to engage your baby's senses during each Caterpillars class. We provide taste-safe materials and follow strict health and hygiene protocols to ensure the safety of your baby. Through tasting, touching, hearing, smelling, and seeing new things, your baby can learn and grow in a fun and safe environment.
SOCIAL Experiences
It is crucial for children of this age to be in the presence of other young children as they learn and play to develop essential social skills. At Caterpillars, we provide our young students with ample opportunities to observe, play alongside, and interact with their peers in an environment that fosters age-appropriate social development. By doing so, we take critical steps towards creating social, confident, and connected children.
Language development and connection
Your child must be exposed to play, music, stories, and social interactions to establish a solid foundation for a comprehensive understanding of language, literacy, and social connections. During our Caterpillars sessions we optimize your little one’s language exposure through fun and hands on activities.
Testimonial
“Our daughter attended Wilderness from five months and we stayed all way until she started reception. We couldn’t have loved our experience there more. It is absolutely incredible and you really do feel a part of the lovely community they have built. We were often blown away by the things our child told us she was learning at school, and her passion about it was so genuine because of the student led approach they take. All of the teachers there are fantastic, but in particular we were lucky enough to have Miss Nathalie, who was phenomenal and has made a lasting impression on Livia. Miss Tessa, the principal, is also excellent and develops such a great relationship with both parents and students. Our experience there was a special one and we miss it already!”
